Each child in our care is unique. Children in care range in age from infancy to 18 years, and we try to keep all sibling groups together. Some children are voluntarily placed in care while others are in care due to a court order. The children in our care reflect the racial and ethnic diversity of our community. There are a variety of reasons as to why a child would be brought into care including parental conflict, parental illness, neglect of basic needs, and abuse. We work to find foster homes that match the strengths and needs of the child.
Teenagers and children with special needs in our community are at most need for foster homes at this time. They are looking for committed, nurturing environments to allow their strengths to shine.
