transcription: contributing to education

There’s so many ways that one can contribute to education here at the Children’s Aid Society for our homework program and by contributing the bursaries.  Without children’s aid that I don’t think that would have been any money for me to go to university. What we have received from TD is really wonderful. In a sense that it’s a two-fold grant that was seventy-five thousand dollars, fifty thousand dollars goes towards a program that we call our youth charting the course for the future, which really enables youth that don’t fit into that traditional mode of education the second component of the grant is a TD completion bursary which gives our youth, upon completion of a university degree or a community college diploma, the opportunity to be reimbursed for some of those expenses that they have incurred during the duration of their studies. I have a lot of OSAP loans right now so this this money will definitely help in the long run in paying back some of those OSAP loans. A contribution to a bursary is helping to write the child’s story. Thank You TD and Thank You CAS for helping with this bursary.
