Who Can Adopt?
The Children’s Aid Society selects adoptive families who can meet the specialized needs of our children. Our adoptive applicants come from various racial, cultural and religious backgrounds. We do not discriminate based on marital status or sexual orientation.
Who are the Children Waiting for Adoption?
The children in our care awaiting adoption live in foster homes on a temporary basis. These children may be on their own or with a group of siblings. The Society believes strongly that brothers and sisters should be placed together.
Our children may have a history of painful experiences, inlcuding abuse and neglect. They may be faced with physical, mental and emotional challenges.
Children come in to our care for various reasons but all of them are in need of a stable and nurturing family to grow up in.
